The 11th national fencing championships started on Wednesday September 13, 2023, in Porto-Novo. Coming from all regions of Benin, the participants will challenge each other in three events. You have equipment that will allow you to earn and earn your points. So take advantage of these tracks. For the president, it is an opportunity for the Fencers who take part in these championships. He did not fail to promise future champions that the continental competitions (Togo championship, Ghana championship, cadet and junior African championships, senior African championship and why not the World Cup) will extend their arms to them . Also, he stressed that less and less senior competitions will take place with dual nationals. Finally, he hoped that the candidates for the various titles of the year would ensure that very good champions emerge from among them.

Please note that after the message from President Jacques Okoumassoun, the president of Cnos Ben, present at the launch, kicked off the first match. These championships which take place on the external esplanade of the Assembly Nnational will end next Friday, September 15.
