Police report that last night (Wednesday) two Arab suspects in the Judea and Samaria area were caught “on hot” by Israeli police officers while driving a stolen vehicle.

During a police operation near the Rimonim settlement in Benjamin, the police noticed a vehicle that raised their suspicion. An investigation found that the Nissan vehicle in which the suspects were apprehended was stolen from the central area several months ago.

The suspects are two Palestinians living in Deir Jarir and after being caught “on hot” in the Judea and Samaria area with the stolen vehicle, they were arrested for questioning.

A police spokesman said: “The Israel Police will continue its determined and uncompromising fight against gangs of car thieves who are trying to harm the security and property of the residents, in order to investigate the truth and bring justice to those involved.”
