Power Outage Update in Metropolitan Region, Chile
More than 600,000 customers in 21 municipalities across the Metropolitan Region of Chile have been left without electricity due to strong winds and fallen trees in recent hours. An intense frontal system affecting the region has caused outages in over 20 communities.
According to the National Service for Disaster Prevention and Response (Senapred), over 750 homes in the capital have been damaged by the storm. In total, more than 600,000 clients in 21 communes have reported power outages.

Enel Response:
Enel, the electricity provider, has reported that around 584,500 customers are currently without power. They are working to restore service as quickly as possible and have deployed additional technical teams to the affected areas.
