The 21st World Congress of Chinese Medicine begins at UNESCO on October 25th

The 21st World Congress of Chinese Medicine, organized by the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies, will be held in Paris on 25 and 26 October 2024, at the UNESCO headquarters. A congress coordinated by the France China Center for Chinese Medicine (CFCMC), with the support of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China. This congress is a key event for the dissemination and exchange of knowledge in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

The theme of this edition is “Fostering exchanges between Eastern and Western civilizations to spread Chinese Medicine globally”. Experts from all continents will gather in conferences and workshops that will cover different areas of research, from pediatrics to dermatology, including internal diseases, but also from Qigong to acupuncture.

Thematic speeches and academic talks will be held at UNESCO on October 25, as well as the inauguration ceremony of a Museum of Chinese Medicine followed by a gala dinner. Forums and workshops will continue on October 26, as well as a professional exhibition dedicated to Chinese medicine and pharmacopoeia.
