Gulmira Makanbay, a journalist of the 24.kg portal, was invited to the State Committee on National Security (SCNC). On March 9, information about an hour-long conversation with representatives of the special service in the presence of a lawyer was published on the website of the aforementioned media.
“An invitation was sent to the journalist without a stamp, signature and why he was invited,” it was written in the information.
Later, it became known that he was invited for a video interview with Buda Munkhoev, a citizen of Russia and Buryatia.
In a video published on the 24.kg website on January 29, Munkhoev said that he moved to Kyrgyzstan in September 2022 after the mobilization announced in Russia. They shared their thoughts about Buryatia, mother tongue and Kyrgyzstan. The material was prepared by Gulmira Makanbay girl.
According to the video, it became known that a citizen of Russia complained to UKMK. The special service has not yet commented on the incident.
Anastasiya Mokrenko, the editor-in-chief of 24.kg news agency, appeared as a witness in the Bishkek City Office of the National Criminal Investigation Department on March 2. It was reported that the question is related to information about the bombing of the RedCentre shopping center at the end of January this year.
On January 31, when information about the bomb came out, everyone inside the shopping center was evacuated, dog experts worked there and determined that there was no bomb.
On February 6, the director general of the 24.kg news agency, Asel Otorbaeva, was summoned as a witness to the Main Investigation Department of the Ukrainian Criminal Investigation Department, but it was not stated what article the questioning was about. (BTo)
