The 2nd edition of the Colloquium on cybersecurity in perspective in Gabon

As a prelude to the organization of the conference on cybersecurity on March 30 and 31, 2023 in collaboration with the Société d’Incubation Numérique du Gabon (SING), the Minister of the Digital Economy Jean Pierre DOUKAGA KASSA received this Monday, March 20, 2023 , Didier SIMBA, President of the Club of Information Security Experts in Africa (CESIA).
He presented and offered a copy of his book on Cybercrime before seeking the agreement of the member of the government for the holding of the 2nd edition of the event in Libreville.
Thus, the format of the said meeting, which is intended to be a place of reflection between experts on the inventory of the digital ecosystem, particularly in the legislative and regulatory framework, was discussed.
On the occasion, the President of the club of experts on information security in Africa took the opportunity to present to the Minister, the progress of the preparations for this year’s edition, the report of the 1st edition of the symposium organized in February 2022 and the activities of the structure he leads.
Also, the Minister DOUKAGA KASSA he marked the availability of his teams including ANINF and ARCEP in the participation and support for the good performance of this conference.
