The 2nd edition of the Marrakech Parliamentary Economic Forum for the Euro-Mediterranean region and the Gulf on July 11 and 12
Rabat – The Chamber of Advisors and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (APM) are organizing, on July 11 and 12, the second edition of the Marrakech Parliamentary Economic Forum for the Euro-Mediterranean region and the Gulf, under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
The organization of this second edition of the forum reflects the commitment of the APM in the process of strengthening parliamentary cooperation in order to create a more integrated and sustainable economic and financial zone between the Euro-Mediterranean countries and the Gulf countries, the Chamber of Advisors said in a press release.
The forum, whose founding edition took place two years ago in the ochre city, represents an ideal opportunity for parliamentarians and founding partners of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean to interact with political and economic actors from the public and private sectors, as well as with academic circles and civil society, the same source said.
The second edition of the forum will focus on two main themes, namely “the transition to green energy” and “supporting entrepreneurship and small and medium-sized enterprises in this process”.
Participants will focus, over two days, on examining ways and mechanisms to address current challenges related to the production of and access to affordable, sustainable and clean energy in the Mediterranean and Gulf regions, with a focus on regional solutions specifically designed to support entrepreneurship, small and medium-sized enterprises and economic growth, the statement concluded.
