Three series for all tastes, in a week without too many flashy premieres
Like every week, I present to you the most outstanding Netflix releases from May 9 to 15. Now, on this occasion, I feel somewhat disappointed because neither the quantity nor the quality invite us to think that we are facing a series (or movie) called to succeed.
So, we have the tenth season of working mothers (series that goes somewhat unnoticed in Spain, but not so in the rest of the world), a series from Chile about a missing girl and other television fiction, in this case americanwhich adapts a best-seller from Michael Connelly. Will there be any unexpected last minute surprises?
Working Moms Season 6 – May 10
- A mythical Canadian comedy that sweeps Netflix. ✅
After five seasons, on May 10 the sect of this comedy about motherhood that has triumphed among critics and the public will arrive. It may be a minor release for many of you, but if you like the genre and want to have a good time in front of the screenIt’s time for you to give it a try.
42 days in the dark – May 11
And thriller drama about disappearances of those who like so much on Netflix. What is the story of this powerful 12-episode Chilean series based on real events about? A woman seeks to find the whereabouts of her missing sister. She will have to fight against the negligence of the institutions, the prejudices of loneliness and the harassment of the media..
Lincoln’s Lawyer – May 13
- An adaptation of Michael Connelly’s novels perfect for mystery lovers. ✅
I couldn’t say if Lincoln’s Lawyer It is one of the great premieres of Netflix, or is it a minor release. The problem? The usual: there is no huge promotion behind, as it does exist in Welcome to Eden. Likewise, his premise appeals to me: “an iconoclastic idealist runs his law practice from the back of his Lincoln Town Car“. Will this drama be as crazy as this brief synopsis suggests?
