This exhibition, which will take place in the artistic laboratory “Hiba Lab”, represents a space for artistic experiments and brings together eight budding visual artists as well as street artists, with the aim of creating an osmosis between the existing murals and the added canvases, indicates a press release from the Association.
“Street art is investing more and more interior surfaces in 2023, such as museums, exhibitions, libraries, decoration of cafes, restaurants and homes” underlines the same source, adding that street art, due to its contemporary component, represents a dynamic and constantly evolving field.
Street art has experienced a considerable leap at the national level with the emergence of festivals dedicated to this art form, the same source continues, adding that this momentum has aroused growing interest from the artistic community and the population and has consequently allowed the emergence of a new generation of graffiti artists, painters and street artists.
In 2021, the “Hiba” Association invited four representatives of the local art scene to paint the wall of the Association’s staircase, it is recalled, noting that this initiative was a real success during the first edition of “Street Art Inside”. This cultural event had integrated visual artists with an urban and experimental sensibility and those who simply want to paint walls and exhibit their works.
