jpnn.com – NUSANTARA – Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono revealed that the installation of the last blade of the Garuda at the Presidential Office in the Indonesian Capital or IKN, East Kalimantan has been installed.

“Alhamdulillah, we saw and carried out the installation of the 4650th blade, which marks the completion of the construction of the Garuda,” said Basuki, who is also the Acting Head of the IKN Authority (OIKN), Monday (22/7).

The installation of the final and highest blade (topping off) on the West Wing of the Garuda Veil has been completed with the 4650th blade.

In addition to being witnessed by Basuki, the installation was also attended by Nyoman Nuarta, the artist who designed and made the copper blades that form the Garuda Wings.

This is also part of the final completion of the Presidential Office building in the IKN Government Center Core Area (KIPP).

Previously, the first blade installation was carried out on September 17, 2023 by President Joko Widodo.

For information, the last Garuda wing cover blade for the Presidential Palace in the Indonesian Capital City (IKN) has been completed and sent from the PT Siluet Nyoman Nuarta workshop at NuArt Sculpture Park Bandung to the new national capital in Sepaku, Penajam Paser, East Kalimantan.

President Director of PT Siluet Nyoman Nuarta, Nyoman Nuarta explained that the delivery of the garuda wing blades was not an easy job. He explained that the giant garuda bird was designed with a wingspan of 177 meters and a height of 77 meters.

This is also part of the final completion of the KIPP IKN Presidential Office building.
