With the slogan of giving and volunteering, the 4th System of Sea Scouts of Rhodes strengthened with its action the Contribution Structure of the Municipal Welfare Organization of Rhodes.
On Saturday, February 17, 2024, the Herd department, the Team and the System Community collected non-perishable food items donated by our citizens when they left the stores of Mr. Ioannis Pappous and “My market”.
The people’s contribution was very great and once again the Rhodian people show their sensitivity to the vulnerable social groups and their practical support.
The food was delivered on the same day to the food preparation center by the Head of the System, Mr. Panagiotis Kastis and the Deputy Head, Mr. Nikos Flevaris, to the Head of the Social Service – Social Worker, Ms. Irini Kotzambasaki, the Social Worker, Ms. Evangelia Ignatiou, and the Social Worker. Officer – Coordinator of the Syssitiou Structure Mrs. Despina Perakis. Present were the leaders and deputy leaders of the herd – the group – the community and members of the System. The attendees were informed by the executives of the structure about the operation of the conference and renewed the appointment for their next action.
The Vice-Mayor and President of the Foundation, Mr. Thomas Sotrillis, the members of the Board of Directors and the employees, express their warm thanks to the 4th Sea Scout System of Rhodes for its continuous support and selfless contribution to humanity.
