The 8th Regional Cup in Rhythmic Gymnastics started on July 9 at the Gabala Olympic Sports Complex.
As reported by Day.Az on Tuesday with reference to Trend, gymnasts representing sections of the Ojag Sport club in Zagatala, Shamakhi and Agdash, Olympic sports complexes in Absheron, Sumgait, Lankaran, Sheki, Oguz, Gabala, Shirvan, Masalli, Ganja, as well as the Olympic training and sports center “Kur” in Mingachevir and the Youth Houses of Shamkir are taking part in the competition.
Participants will perform in individual programs in the competition in the age category of “babies” (born in 2016, 2015, 2014), “juniors” (born in 2013, 2012, 2011), “pre-juniors” (born in 2009-2010). As for group exercises, the competition will be held in the age categories of “babies” (born in 2014-2016) and “juniors” (born in 2012-2013).
The tournament promises to be intense and interesting, giving participants the opportunity to demonstrate their skills and preparation at a high level.
