The Acting Minister of the Interior, Imad Trabelsi, participated in the activities of the Turkish SAHA EXPO 2024 exhibition, which is being held at the Istanbul Exhibition Center, during the period from October 22 to 26.

According to the media office of the Ministry of Interior, Al-Trabelsi toured the exhibition halls, accompanied by Assistant Chief of General Staff Salah Al-Namroush, the Libyan ambassador to Turkey, and the consul general at the embassy, ​​in addition to his accompanying delegation.

On the sidelines of the exhibition, the Minister of Interior discussed with Turkish Defense Minister Yaşar Guler the strengthening of security cooperation between the two countries, with a focus on combating common security threats and developing cooperation mechanisms.

The two parties also discussed ways to strengthen partnerships in the field of defense industries and technology to support military capabilities and enhance regional security.

In addition, Trabelsi discussed with the Turkish Minister of Industry and Technology, Mehmet Fatih Cajir, the prospects for joint cooperation, with a focus on benefiting from Turkish expertise to support the Ministry of the Interior in the fields of technology and technology, and developing work in the various sectors of the Ministry, which contributes to improving performance and increasing efficiency.

More than 1,200 exhibitors from around the world participate in the SAHA EXPO, highlighting Turkey’s technological and industrial capabilities, with the aim of showcasing the latest technologies in the fields of defense and space.
