A 24-year-old and a 49-year-old fell victim to fraud, who entered the process of buying a truck, following an ad on a vehicle sales website.
After their telephone contact with a person who allegedly posted the ad, they were convinced of the purchase of the truck and deposited the total sum of 9,320 euros into a bank account, without, however, completing the sale.
As part of the investigation of the case, the Arta Security Department identified the details of a 50-year-old Bulgarian woman and a 53-year-old woman, owners of the telephone connections, with which the victims communicated, and a relevant case file was filed against them.
The police investigation into the identification of others involved in the case continues.
