Film director Emma Tammi presented her new horror film ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s’ to the Mexican public during a themed party that took place in Mexico City.
It was through a video that he recorded for Mexican fans of this story based on the videogame namesake who spoke about the film that opens in theaters on October 26.
“You will be able to see Freddy, Foxy, Chica and Bonnie for the first time on the big screen. We put all our hearts into this project and I am convinced that you, the biggest fans in Mexico, will love the final result,” said Tammi.

Previously, the filmmaker has also spoken about the film’s classification, which will be suitable for those over 13 years of age. Although the video game has some gore and horror scenes with explicit images, she preferred to also reach the story to fans who are minors.
Various content creators attended the party, including young minors, who were offered milkshakes instead of alcoholic cocktails and a menu inspired by the pizzeria in the story.
Emi and Luis, known as ‘The FiJi Twins’, were the presenters of the dynamic that consisted of surviving different challenges, including playing the original video game.

The film, starring Josh Hutcherson, follows Mike, a troubled security guard who begins a night job at family entertainment center Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. But one night he discovers that the animatronic pets that live there come to life and, just like in the game, are ready to kill.

”It was a laborious process, full of passion, and the characters turned out to be incredible, both beloved and creepy, because they needed to be both. In the shadows they are terrifying, but when they perform on stage they are fun and kind,” Emma talked about this process.
Scott Cawthon, creator of the franchise, is a producer and was very involved in the entire process for the feature film of his franchise (he co-wrote the script). That is why the project took 8 years to become a reality. Cawthon was very careful to deliver a good product.
For Jason Blum, this was without a doubt the biggest challenge of the production: “Making a movie that worked on its own but was also faithful to the game, to the fans and something that Scott would like…took a long time to accomplish.” with all those aspects.”
