After 11 days of incessant influx of refugees from all over Ukraine to Moldova, rescue and rescue operations continued yesterday (Sunday), alongside the sacred work of providing first aid and absorbing hundreds of refugees daily at the Jewish community complex in Chisinau, the capital of Moldova.

Due to a severe shortage of hotel rooms throughout Kishinev, the Jewish community led by the rabbi of Moldova, Rabbi Pinchas Salzman, is housing hundreds of refugees in a number of complexes throughout the city, including a tent complex and the community’s main synagogue.

Rabbi Hillel Cohen, director of the Ukraine Rescue Union, has been in Moldova for the past few days to assist in daring rescue operations alongside incessant assistance to Rabbi Pinchas Salzman, the state rabbi, and the various bodies that care for Jewish refugees.

In an exciting video from the community’s headquarters, you can see the bustle of tired refugees eating their hearts out after days of upheaval on the roads, the Jewish community in Chisinau opened their home and heart to them.
