The Alaouite Organization for the Promotion of the Blind in Morocco participates in the 29th edition of SIEL
Rabat – The Alaouite Organization for the Promotion of the Blind in Morocco (OAPAM), chaired by HH Princess Lalla Lamia Essolh, is participating in the 29th edition of the International Book and Publishing Fair (SIEL) scheduled from May 9 to 19 in Rabat.
As part of its contribution to national and international activities in line with its strategy outlined in its annual programs, OAPAM will take part in this edition of SIEL with a unique stand in terms of works exhibited and activities offered, indicates a press release from the Organization.
The stand will see the presentation of research and studies printed using the Braille method, a school textbook for all levels, stories and novels/collections, works written by the blind and audio books.
OAPAM also offers parallel activities, including a seminar on the theme “Reading in the cognitive and creative experience of the blind: reality and perspectives” scheduled for May 12 with the participation of teachers and experts, a poetry evening on May 15 with the participation of blind poets and workshops for the benefit of visitors.
