The allies of the defeated powers are creating anarchy: Fakhrul

He said this in a statement sent to the media expressing deep concern over the violence in the hill districts of Khagrachari and Rangamati on Friday (September 20) night.

Demanding the immediate arrest of those involved in the violence, the BNP Secretary General said that although the Awami fascist government has fallen due to the students’ movement, the allies of the defeated forces are still engaged in creating anarchy in the country. They are involved in deep conspiracy. The conspirators are unable to accept the historic victory of the students and have resorted to killings and vandalism across the country to destabilize the current interim government. Although the people have been freed from the terrible misrule of the Awami fascist ruling group, the country is still not completely safe.

Mirza Fakhrul said, the miscreants have become desperate to destabilize the country. And for this reason people are being attacked and seriously injured including being killed in a demonic manner. The incidents of casualties by miscreants in Khagrachari and Rangamati are a brutal manifestation of that. These terrorists have to be suppressed with a strong hand, there is no alternative. Everyone, regardless of party affiliation, needs to be vigilant so that the conspirators do not reap the benefits by following a trail of attacks and bloodshed. And only then, real democracy, good governance and safety of people’s lives will be ensured in the country.

BNP Secretary General in a statement demanded the immediate arrest and exemplary punishment of the miscreants who attacked people in Khagrachari and Rangamati. He prayed for the forgiveness of the departed souls of the deceased and expressed his condolences to their family members and wished for the speedy recovery of the injured.
