The seaside, the most popular destination
The mountains attract 11% of tourists, the countryside 21% and the coast 42%. Brittany, for example, made a boom of 12% in terms of reservations compared to last year, and the Côte d’Azur recorded an increase of 8%. SNCF also sold 10% more tickets for July and August than in 2022.
