The next meeting of the Commission on Amnesty Issues under the President of Azerbaijan was held.
TrendAccording to the information, more than 100 amnesty applications were considered at the meeting.
It should be noted that more than 1,600 amnesty applications have been considered at the meetings so far.
According to the last amnesty order signed in Azerbaijan last year, a total of 213 people were pardoned. 168 people sentenced to deprivation of liberty were released from the unserved part of their sentence, and the unserved part of the sentence of 36 people was reduced to half. Also, 3 people who were sentenced to imprisonment were released. Also, 6 people who were sentenced to restriction of freedom were released from the unserved part of their sentences.
