With the recently achieved First Federation champions trophy presiding over the Zelaieta Center’s assembly hall, the assembly of the Amorebieta Sports Society approved this Thursday the accounts for the second adventure in its history in professional football. A provisional budget that, according to the figures presented by the board of directors chaired by Jon Larrea, will be close to seven million euros. Specifically, there will be 6.8 million, a figure slightly higher than that managed during the previous stage of Urritxe’s men in the Silver Division. So, it was around 6.5 million. A budget that, as two courses ago, makes the Amorebieta one of the Cinderellas of the category in the economic aspect. In sports, the objective will be to achieve a permanence that escaped by only two points a couple of seasons ago.
As is to be expected, the bulk of this figure will come from the income received from its participation in LaLiga Hypermotion, estimated at 5.3 million, two hundred thousand euros less than in the participation of the blues in Second. However, this amount is not entirely definitive and may vary. The rest of the amount comes from sponsorships and other own sources. The budget received the approval of the attendees almost unanimously, since 74 favorable votes and one abstention have been counted.
Likewise, the assembly of the Zornotzarra entity gave its approval to the new quotas for members for this campaign in the Second Division, in which Amorebieta will once again play as a local in Lezama due to the impossibility of playing in Urritxe. A stadium that is still pending some much-needed reforms, another of the open fronts for Jon Larrea and his team and that they trust to be able to direct as soon as possible by the hand of the Zornotzarra council, owner of the facilities.
The renewal of the adult subscription will cost 320 euros (€297 in the previous stage). The youth card, for people between the ages of 16 and 26, will cost €110, while the one for retired people will cost €220. The child subscription, for children under 16 years of age, will cost €70. In the case of new registrations, prices will increase by ten euros.
The Zornotzarra board of directors also detailed the club’s sports project for the next season. The Amorebieta will have 19 teams, four more than the previous one, divided into three senior teams, three youth teams, four cadets, four children, three juveniles and two youngest, in a clear commitment of the Biscayan club to the promotion of grassroots football. In this sense, it has been announced that the figure of a physical trainer for the quarry will be incorporated into the structure.
Medical tests
This Thursday the medical tests took place for several of the members of the Amorebieta squad, which will start filming this Saturday at 10.30 am in Urritxe in what will be the first training session of an exciting season in LaLiga Hypermotion. At the moment, there are thirteen players that make up the team. Rayco, Seguín, Etxeita, Jorge Mier, Ryan Edwards, Jonmi, Marino, Sibo and Dorrio continue from last season. They have already been joined by Luis Quintero, Erik Morán, Daniel Lasure and Félix Garreta, who will not be in that first session under the orders of Haritz Mujika as he is participating in the U19 European Championship that the team is playing these days in Malta.
