The second largest amount of precipitation in the observation network of LVĜMC in the last day was recorded in Dobele, where 106.4 millimeters of rain fell, Riga and Mērsrags are in third place with less than 86 millimeters of precipitation.
In Riga – both in the city center and in Daugavgrīva – the amount of precipitation reached 85.8 millimeters.
The wind blew the most in Jūrmala, where there are no national observation stations, and according to LVĜMC data, the strongest wind gusts on Monday until 5 am were 25 meters per second in Dobele, 26 meters per second in Daugavgrīva and 27 meters per second in the center of Riga.
The biggest wind and rain damage affected Tukuma, Dobele, Jelgava, Olaine and Mārupe counties, as well as Jelgava, Jurmala and Riga.
