Similarly, for a family with assets of up to Rs 10 crore, this expenditure can go up to Rs 1.5 crore. Thus, for an Indian family, this expenditure ranges from 5% to 15%. In other words, the Ambani family is spending less compared to other Indians.
With international celebrities and businessmen flocking to India, the Ambani family’s lavish wedding is estimated to cost around Rs 5,000 crore ($0.6 billion). With this calculation, the current wedding expenses are almost negligible for billionaire Mukesh Ambani, whose net worth is $123.2 billion.
