Morocco national team fans with Palestine flag (Radad Jabara)
The World Cup in Qatar brought with it many events of support for Palestine and tonight (Wednesday) just before the start of the semi-final between Morocco and France we received another one, this time not only from the fans of the Arab national teams or the local residents.
While the thousands of fans began to visit Al Beit Stadium, the Arab announcer at the game announced on the microphone: “Today we are all together from Morocco, liberated Palestine and Egypt. Long live Morocco, long live Palestine.”
As mentioned, the Moroccan team reached the semi-finals for the first time ever, knocking out Spain and Portugal along the way. All the fans of the Arab national teams rallied to support the Atlas Lions, when the Arabs of Israel also expressed their open support for Morocco.
