The antenna of France Inter was hacked, Sunday April 10 evening, while the electoral evening was in full swing there, by a jamming of listening on its FM network of Paris-Est.
At the time of the traditional results and analyzes of the first round of the French presidential election, a “pirate transmitter blew the station’s frequency”, a prohibited technique, the radio said. A speech of a few minutes directed against politicians, technocrats or even journalists was broadcast in a loop for more than an hour.
No claims
France Inter “could not identify the content of this speech”. The radio said that “only the network covering the 20e arrondissement of Paris was concerned”. “We discovered it by a tweet” from an individual, added the radio, which had not received any claim at 11 p.m.
We “We are absolutely sorry and we are doing everything to understand what happened and prevent it from happening again”tweeted the director of France Inter, Laurence Bloch, following these disturbances.
