The guest on the show is Tomer Karsik, a software architect at the CodeValue software house.

One of the most prominent trends in the corporate world in recent years is moving to the cloud. The transition to the cloud enables and provides the organization with an opportunity to reinvent itself, to re-engineer, in a more efficient, smarter way, the internal organizational processes, such as managing customer data and sharing knowledge and tasks within the organization, as well as improving the quality of the service or application to the customer.

The role of the software architect is to study in depth the organizational processes, the business needs, the nature of the service to the customer or the product and every aspect of the current activity, and formulate a plan for a technological infrastructure that will suit the organization and allow it to make the transition smoothly so that it can maximize all the advantages offered by cloud platforms.

In the conversation, Tomer talks about the professional path that led him to become an architect, what guides him when he formulates a technological plan for a client, and about his love for a profession that is at the seam between business, technology and interpersonal.
