In the direction of Kurakhovsky in the Donetsk region, the Armed Forces of Ukraine succeeded in one of the largest mechanized attacks in recent times. The occupants moved in a column of 17 equipment units. This was reported by the press service of the 46th OAeMBr DShV of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It is noted that on this part of the front, the Russian occupiers resort to new attacks every day. On 29 August, they launched a massive attack on the 46th Brigade’s position.
“17 units of different armored vehicles tried to break through our defences. Of these, only four, the most intelligent, managed to return to their own,” the message says.
The full range of methods of destruction was used against the occupiers. As a result of the attack, 13 units of Russian equipment were destroyed by minefields, artillery fire, anti-tank systems and FPV drones.
“Nor did they stand in ceremony with the personnel: some of the enemies were destroyed directly on the armor; those who came apart and went through the bushes, those were arrested according to individual programs and the UAVs were arrested,” the brigade said.
Let us recall that also in the direction of Kurakhovsky in the Donetsk region, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed two groups of Russians who tried to land and gain a foothold in two landings. Ukrainian defenders stopped the attack and completely destroyed the landing group.
