France is preparing for war”/>

France, which remained outside the regional processes due to its open pro-Armenian position, continues to do everything to impede the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia. While Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan claims mutual recognition of the territorial integrity of the two countries and the absence of mutual territorial claims, the Armenian lobby in France is preparing for war.
The French publication Le Journal du dimanche published an article describing the military training of Armenian VOMA terrorists in the face of the alleged “Azerbaijani threat.” Moreover, the author of the article presents his story to the reader as if war is already on the horizon and Armenia cannot be allowed to suffer another military defeat.
Why are the French media escalating the situation when in Armenia itself they are talking about peace, albeit in words? The fact is that the current leadership of France is not interested in any peace treaty between Baku and Yerevan. Because in this case, official Paris will lose its leverage and will no longer be able to interfere in the affairs of the region.
Armenia has become a transit point for illegal migrants
In this context, it is no coincidence that the activity of French parliamentarians Nathalie Loiseau and Francois-Xavier Bellamy during the plenary session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg. The latter, having completely acquired the taste for primitive Azerbaijanophobia, posted a publication on his social network X, where he praised Muhammad Mirzali, Tural Sadikhli and brother Vidadi Iskendarli. The parasitic provocateurs on social networks turned out to be “an indicator of courage and trust” for the French parliamentarian. If the Armenian lobby had not forked out money, Francois-Xavier Bellamy would not have known about the existence of the above-mentioned characters. But if, in order to fulfill an order, black must be called white, then the French deputy is obliged to fulfill the demands of his employers.
Returning to the publication of Le Journal du dimanche, where the author of the article foaming at the mouth promotes the renegades of VOMA, it is important to note that a year ago this group announced that they would start a guerrilla fight in Karabakh. To achieve their goals, they planned to throw children into the furnace of war. That is, the French publication approves of using children as soldiers and sending them to certain death. It turns out that France, while declaring its supposed “commitment to democratic values and human rights,” strangely supports armed terrorist groups preparing children for war. Such rhetoric and actions of the French media expose the essence of Paris’s true motives. The policy of double standards and unreasonable bias of France, instead of promoting the peace process, only deepen the split between Baku and Yerevan.
Hiding behind ideas of justice and protection of rights, the French authorities do not seem to hesitate to use confrontation to strengthen their geopolitical interests in the region. Instead of helping to establish the long-awaited peace, France continues to encourage revanchist sentiments and creates the conditions for a new wave of violence. It is obvious that stability in the region could bring real benefits for all participants, but certain forces benefit from the conflict. This is why France has no moral right to interfere in the internal affairs of the region and will never again mediate a peace settlement.
