(Ahmad Mansoor) Army Chief General Asim Munir has said that the sacrifices of the martyrs strengthen our determination to fight with utmost dedication and passion, will completely defeat the nexus of all terrorist forces.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army, ISPR, Army Chief General Asim Munir visited Orakzai district, the Army Chief met the jawans conducting anti-terrorism operations in the Tirah Valley, and briefed the Army Chief on the overall security situation. The Chief of Army Staff was apprised of intelligence-based counter-terrorism operations and long-term measures for stability.
According to ISPR, General Asim Munir praised the cooperation of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police and security agencies, the army chief emphasized the need to increase the capacity and efficiency of security agencies.
Army Chief General Asim Munir said that the peace achieved by the great sacrifices of the nation will be maintained at any cost. The Army Chief praised the cooperation of the forces of the local population and said that the positive role of the local population is indispensable for sustainable peace.
According to ISPR, the Army Chief visited the martyrs’ memorial in Orakzai district and placed flowers.
