A couple of weeks ago, Apple presented the new model of its iPhone cell phone line at its annual fall event. According to Apple, the iPhone 15, 15 plus, 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max bring new features and improvements to the graphics processing unit, the camera system and the most notable feature, its Titanium casing. In Colombia they began to be sold last Friday, September 29 and, in a matter of hours, several references had already been sold out.
“The iPhone 15 is the company’s first phone designed with aerospace-grade titanium, the same alloy used in spacecraft sent to Mars,” Apple explained.
Apple’s new launch arrived in the country with prices ranging between $4 million and $7 million, values that vary depending on the model, color and storage capacity.

Authorized distributors expect to exceed sales corresponding to the launch of the latest iPhone 14 last year. “We expect a 70% growth in our sales, for the launches we have around 12,000 and 15,000 units, and we hope to exceed these numbers,” mentioned Juliana Rengifo, manager of Mac Center, one of the authorized distributors.
Where can you buy the iPhone 15 in Colombia?
In Colombia, this new iPhone model has arrived, so far, at 10 authorized distributors throughout the national territory.
Among them are chain supermarkets, mobile operators and technology stores, in addition to the Rappi home delivery platform, where you can buy and receive it in a few hours, thanks to its alliance with a distributor.
Claro and Movistar are the operators that have the new iPhone 15 models available, Tigo would start in the coming days. These companies offer the eSim necessary for the operation of this new line and technology.
The technology stores Alkosto, Alkomprar and K-Tronix are other distributors authorized by Apple to market the new family of its iconic cell phone. Likewise, at Almacenes Éxito and Fallabella.com, you can find the devices.
Finally, in Mac Center and iShop, two stores that since the beginning of Apple’s arrival in Colombia have specialized in the distribution of all the company’s lines, you can also find the new models, which on this occasion are four: iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Prices
Naturally, the sales prices in the US are different compared to stores in Colombia, where the iPhone 15 128 GB costs between $4.5 and $4.6 million, the iPhone 15 Plus 128 GB costs $5.1 to more than $5.2 million; the iPhone 15 Pro with 128 Gb and up to 256 Gb moves from $5.6 million to more than $6.3 million; the crown jewel the 256GB Pro Max from $6.7 million to almost $6.9 million.
Some of these authorized distributors have interest financing options even from 0%, others opt for return plans, free AirPods or chargers, and exclusive discounts for co-branded credit card customers.

Other references dropped in price
The arrival of a new Apple model pushed some of the references that have already been on the market for several years to drop in price at some of the authorized distributors. Such is the case of Claro, in which the iPhone 13 and 14 have a discount of nearly $200 thousand in value.
The iPhone 13 128 Gb went from a price of $3,715,960 to $3,539,960 while the iPhone 14 also 128 Gb cost $4,279,960 and went to a price of $4,099,960. The 14 Pro, 256 GB, for its part, went from $6,199,960 to $5,799,960.

At Falabella, the iPhone 11, 13 and 14 references have also experienced a price drop. The 128 GB model 12 went from costing $3,689,900 to $2,599,900 and, if you have an exclusive store card, the discount could increase by up to $500.00 more.
The 128 Gb iPhone 13, likewise, dropped from $4,259,900 to $3,599,900 and with the brand card $3,199,900. The 128 Gb iPhone 14, for its part, had a price of $4,879,900 and dropped to $4,159,900 and with the store’s exclusive card, it would cost $3,699,900.
