With a large majority of deputies, the National Assembly voted in favor of the “Olympic and Paralympic Games” bill. This Tuesday, the deputies adopted this text which includes a large security component to prepare and protect the high mass of world sport which will take place in Paris and in the rest of France from July 26, 2024.
Already validated at the Luxembourg Palace, the bill was approved by 400 votes against 93, despite the concern of part of the opposition which considers it a Trojan horse to strengthen and perpetuate beyond the Games of population surveillance tools, such as algorithmic video surveillance.
