The management of the football association unanimously approved today (Sunday) the temporary order to cancel section 22 (f) of the disciplinary regulations regarding the punishment of professional teams and from now on there will be no more games without an audience.

Below is the wording: “In light of the recommendations of the committee for examining reform in the ways of combating riots in soccer games in Israel, the management of the association decides to cancel section 22 (f) of the disciplinary regulations regarding the punishment of professional teams until the end of the 2022/23 game season, that is, the court will not be allowed to punish a professional team with a penalty of a game without an audience.

It will be clarified that the clauses talking about closing stands and reducing conditional points and actually reducing points will not be canceled.

In addition, the management of the football association unanimously adopted the proposal of the chairman of the football association Shino Zwartz to appoint the board member Bassem Suleiman to the position of acting chairman of the association. The appointments of Moran Meiri and Shimon Maimon to the position of vice-chairmen were also approved.
