The integrated T-usual, T-casual, T-grup and T-familiar tickets will only be available on the T-mobilitat card, from the Barcelona Metropolitan Transport Authority, as of November 28. On the one hand, self-vending machines will stop printing old tickets with magnetic stripes and will only offer them with T-mobilitat cards. These tickets will be available in a specific T-mobilitat cardboard format that will not require prior registration and will cost 0.50 euros for the first purchase, then will be recharged as many times as needed.
The exception is the T-usual cardboard card, which will have a specific design that will require your DNI or passport at the time of purchase, since it is personal and non-transferable. In this case, it will not accept the recharge of any other type of title. For the rest of the cases that make the definitive change to T-mobilitat, which are T-casual, T-grup and T-familiar, the recharge of different modalities will be allowed, but only one at a time, not in any way. simultaneous.
Regarding old cardboard cards with magnetic stripes that have already been purchased, their use will be allowed until they run out or until they expire, set for next January 15, since the validation machines will still accept this type of banknote. As for the rest of the system’s validations, such as the single ticket, ATM social titles or those of the operators, their issuance will continue to be with magnetic cardboard in the same self-sale machines.
