According to the details, Pakistan has allegedly targeted the hideouts of terrorists in the Paktika area of Afghanistan, on which the Afghan Taliban has canceled the visit of the delegation of the Pakistan Army to Kandahar. Pakistan has not made any comment regarding the cancellation of a Pakistani delegation’s visit to Kandahar, the media wing of the army has also not reacted to any developments on these two issues. Pakistan has not commented on the attack or the cancellation of the Pakistani delegation’s visit to Paktika, but diplomatic sources have said that a delegation of middle-ranking officers arrived on Sunday to resolve the issue of the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). He had to go to Kandahar.
According to the sources, the delegation was supposed to meet the Governor of Kandahar and Deputy Chief of the Afghan Intelligence Agency Mullah Shirin Akhund. Mullah Shireen is considered to be close to Taliban Supreme Leader Haibatullah Akhundzada, he was also part of the team that helped to negotiate between Pakistan and TTP, earlier in the same year he also visited Islamabad. Now the Pakistani delegation’s visit was being considered as a follow-up to the same visit. Some Afghan journalists reported on Friday that Pakistan had launched an attack in Paktika to kill a specific TTP terrorist. Not confirmed.
