Chakkabaam was one of the most popular series on the miniscreen. The series, which told the story of various developments in a family in a comical form, quickly won the hearts of the audience. Along with the series, some stars that the audience had not seen much of till then also entered their minds.
Ashwathi Srikanth, who was introduced to the audience only as a presenter till then, came to the acting scene through Chakkapaja. Tik Tok star Mohammad Rafi in another role. Although she was in the movie serial scene from her childhood, actress Shruti Rajinikanth also gained popularity through Chakkaja. Sabita plays the pivotal role of Lalitamma in the comedy-heavy series. Amal Rajdev also appeared in the role of a cool father.
