As follows from the data of Rosstat, the differentiation of the nominal average wage for a number of professions in the public sector for the nine months of 2021 was at its maximum since 2013. For example, for teachers, the difference between the minimum and maximum average wages in the regions of Russia is 5.3 (in 2013 – 4.6), among teachers and masters of industrial training in vocational education programs – 6 (in 2013 – 5.6, the dynamics in different years was multidirectional), among doctors and employees of medical organizations with higher medical education, – 5 (in 2013 – 3.45). At the same time, for a number of workers in the social sphere and science, differentiation has decreased by 2021 (data for nine months). For example, for university teachers – up to 3.2 from 4.2 in 2013, for employees of organizations of additional education for children – up to 5.5 from 6.3, for employees of cultural institutions – up to 4.5 from 5.1. Among the regions, traditionally the highest salaries are for public sector employees in the Chukotka and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrugs, as well as in Moscow, the lowest – in the regions of the Caucasian Federal District (Karachay-Cherkessia, Dagestan, Ingushetia, North Ossetia), as well as in Kalmykia, Buryatia, Altai Territory.
