An attractive program and numerous events are organized by the University of Thrace in Stara Zagora for the upcoming autumn Festival of Knowledge, which will be held on October 3, the university reports.
The day will begin with a performance of the specialties in representative stands in the courtyard of the central campus in the Student City. The university will open wide the doors of its laboratories, classrooms and unique museums to anyone who wishes to become a part of its academic life for a day.
Guests will be able to see the only University Veterinary Hospital in Bulgaria, which has clinics, operating rooms, dental and eye offices, specialized X-ray equipment and helps the most complex animal cases throughout the country.
Open for visits will also be the only one of its kind in Eastern Europe “Aquaponics Demonstration Center” – a unique educational, research and industrial project for controlled ecological production through aquaponics, located on an area of 4000 sq.m.
The newest jewel of the university – the Academic Information Center with a library, will also await its guests with interesting talks.
There will also be a delicious treat for the visitors, personally prepared by chef Uti Bachvarov, who will come to Stara Zagora to set up his “Traveling Culinary Theater” at the university.
For lovers of theater art, in Hall 3, the play “Cherry Orchard” by Chekhov has been prepared by the “Interstellar Talents” theater group led by Stefan Borisov. The actors in it are students from “Maxim Gorki” Secondary School in Stara Zagora.
The evening will be dedicated to the talents of the University of Thrace – students from various majors will show their enviable skills with songs, dances and performances of musical instruments on the “Forum” stage.
And in the dark hours, a student party will start with a DJ, a fire show and a treat – an exceptional greeting from the rector’s management to all students of the university with wishes for success in the academic year 2024/2025.
A beautiful holiday dawn will illuminate the finale of the Autumn Festival of Knowledge.
