Renfe will reach the 50 daily AVE services between Barcelona and Madrid with the incorporation of a new frequency for each direction from 17 May. This figure will be obtained with the commissioning of a new train between Madrid and Barcelona, departing at 8:30 am and stopping in Zaragoza; and another in the opposite direction, departing from the Catalan capital at 15:00. In the most demanding areas there will be a train every half hour between the two cities, according to Renfe.
