The average annual salary of new employees at public institutions this year was 39.61 million won.

This was discovered as a result of Incruit’s analysis of the full-time new employee salaries of 139 participating public institutions using the directory book provided at the ‘2025 Public Institution Recruitment Information Fair’. It decreased by 30,000 won from 39.64 million won the previous year.

By institution, Small and Medium Business Bank (KRW 54.66 million) was found to have the highest new employee salary since last year.

This is followed by ▲Credit Guarantee Fund (52.2 million won) ▲National Research Foundation of Korea (51.35 million won) ▲Technology Guarantee Fund (50.93 million won) ▲Korea Development Bank (50 million won).

The annual salary range is from a minimum of 26.8 million won to a maximum of 54.66 million won. By amount, it accounted for 48.9% of KRW 30 to 40 million, 43.9% of KRW 40 to 50 million, 3.6% of KRW 50 to 60 million, and 3.6% of KRW 20 to 30 million.

By field, the following order is ▲finance sector 44.74 million won ▲energy 41.84 million won ▲culture, arts and sports 40.09 million won ▲SOC (social overhead capital) 39.76 million won ▲research and education 39.67 million won.

Meanwhile, the ‘2025 Public Institution Recruitment Information Fair’, hosted by the Ministry of Strategy and Finance, hosted by the Korea Institute of Public Finance and sponsored by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, will be held at the 1st and 2nd exhibition halls of the Yangjae aT Center in Seoul from the 14th to the 16th.
