On July 26, the award ceremony for the winners of the fourth Ascent competition was held at ADA University.

As reported by Day.Az with reference to Trend, the event was attended by the chairman of the organizing committee of the competition, head of the department for humanitarian policy, diaspora, multiculturalism and religion of the Presidential Administration Farah Aliyeva, rector of ADA University Hafiz Pashayev, Minister of Culture Adil Karimli, chairman of the board of the State Examination Center Maleyka Abbaszade, First Deputy Minister of Economy Elnur Aliyev, Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan Sabina Aliyeva, chairman of the State Committee for Work with Diaspora Fuad Muradov, chairman of the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations Ramin Mammadov, chairman of the board of the Karabakh Revival Fund Rahman Hajiyev, head of the working group of the “Ascent” competition, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Farhad Hajiyev.

In their speeches, the guests noted that the experience, knowledge and contacts gained during the competition, as well as the annual mentoring program, will have a significant impact on the professional lives of the winners.

Then the Chairman of the Organizing Committee, participants and special guests of the ceremony presented diplomas to this year’s winners and took a commemorative photo.

It should be noted that the “Ascent” competition was established in accordance with the Order of the President of Azerbaijan dated July 26, 2019. The purpose of the competition is to identify and support promising leaders aged 21-51, with a high intellectual level and at least two years of management experience, as well as to create a personnel reserve bank in the country.

The winner of the “Ascent” competition will have the opportunity to receive personal career advice from top managers of large companies and heads of government agencies, as well as a cash prize of 20 thousand manats.

On December 25, 2023, the head of state signed an Order to hold the fourth Ascent competition.
