The National Gymnastics Arena in Baku hosted an award ceremony for the winners and prize-winners of the World Cup in trampolining and tumbling, Day.Az reported on Sunday with reference to Trend. Awards were presented to the winners and runners-up in the individual trampoline program.
In the women’s individual trampoline program, Xueying Zhu (China) won the gold medal, Angela Bladtseva (neutral athlete) won the silver medal, and Yana Lebedeva (neutral athlete) won the bronze medal.
The awards to the winners were presented by the technical delegate of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) for trampolining Christophe Lambert, the international category judge for trampoline Kamil Guliyev, and the head coach of the Azerbaijani trampoline team Vladimir Shulikin.
In the men’s individual trampoline program, Zisai Wang (China) rose to the first step of the podium, Lanyu Yan (China) took second place, and Ivan Litvinovich (neutral athlete) took third place.
The awards were presented to the winners and prize-winners by the Minister of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan Farid Gayibov, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan Mariana Vasileva, and competition director Natalya Bulanova.
It should be noted that the World Cup in trampoline and tumbling will be held at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku on February 23-25. Gymnasts from 32 countries take part in the competition.
