The National Gymnastics Arena in Baku hosted an award ceremony for the winners and prize-winners of the World Cup in trampolining and tumbling, Day.Az reported on Sunday with reference to Trend. Awards were presented to the winners and runners-up in the tumbling program.

In the women’s acrobatic track program, Candy Briere-Vetillard (France) rose to the highest step of the podium, Alexandra Efraimoglu (Greece) took second place, and Marie Deloger (France) took third place.

The awards were presented to the winners and prize-winners by member of the Technical Committee for Trampoline of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) Mariela Stoycheva, manager of the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation (AGF) Mehman Aliyev, and Chairman of the Veterans Council of the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation (AGF) Elshad Narimanov.

In the men’s acrobatic track jumping program, Mikhail Malkin (Azerbaijan) took first place, Adil Hajizadeh (Azerbaijan) took second place, and Vasco Peso (Portugal) took third place.

The awards were presented to the winners and prize-winners by the vice-president of the Technical Committee for Trampoline of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) Tatyana Shuyskaya, and managers of the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation (AGF) Victoria Abushova and Shafiga Elchueva.

It should be noted that the World Cup in trampoline and tumbling will be held at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku on February 23-25. Gymnasts from 32 countries take part in the competition.
