MANAMA > The 6th Bahrain International Air Show will begin on Wednesday at Sakhir Airbase. The three-day air show is an opportunity to see one of the best displays of aircraft in the Middle East. Aerobatic display teams, military aircraft, historical and modern aircraft will be lined up in the aerial wonderland. 100 military and non-military delegations from different parts of the world will participate in the three-day airshow.
About 120 companies from the aviation industry will participate in the show, which will be held in an area of 14,000 square meters. Apart from Bahrain, there will be five country pavilions. The Airshow provides an opportunity to introduce leading companies in the field of aviation in the region. Many companies from Saudi and UAE will also participate.
The organizers informed that all the preparations for Air Shock have not been completed. Family area tickets have also been introduced for families to come and enjoy the airshow. Parking facility for public has been prepared at Bahrain International Circuit. From there, shuttle buses will take you to the venue of the airshow.
The family area zone will operate from 10 am to 6 pm. Apart from enjoying aerobatic performances, the heritage village, live music program, food festival, rides etc. are all arranged in the family area.
The airshow also features a variety of entertainment programs such as art performances by local artists of Bahrain, face painting for children and games with participation of cartoon characters.
