The Río Tercero Bar Association will be the plaintiff in the criminal case that the Justice initiated against a person who practiced the legal profession without having the corresponding registration, in Villa General Belgrano.
The judicial complaint had been formulated in November of last year by the authorities of the College, based in Río Tercero.
The subject was arrested on the public highway of the mountain town, by order of the prosecutor Alejandro Carballo.
The Police carried out some raids until they managed to apprehend him in the middle of the street.
The man presented himself as a lawyer using, apparently, an accounting and legal firm in Villa Belgrano, and advised as such, without qualifying registration.
Through a statement, the Bar Association expressed that the entity “will present itself as a private plaintiff in the case, with the aim of continuing to defend the dignified exercise of the profession and protect the rights of all lawyers who practice the profession in accordance with the law”.
“We want to highlight the importance of maintaining ethics and professionalism in the exercise of our profession, to guarantee the trust and respect of society towards our work,” the lawyers said.
