San Salvador. The teams from Mexico, Venezuela, the Dominican Republic and Curaçao took a step forward by winning the opening day of the baseball tournament at the XXIV Central American and Caribbean Games San Salvador 2023, in a packed and renovated Saturnino Bengoa National Park.
The Mexicans blanked 4 runs to 0 against Cuba; the vinotintos defeated Puerto Rico 4 stripes by 3; the quisqueyanos accounted for Nicaragua 6 for 5 in extra innings, while the people of Curaçao prevailed against the hosts 12 annotations for 4.
