The Basketball Federation announces the list of junior and youth teams to represent Iraq

/ The Iraqi Basketball Federation revealed, on Thursday, a list of the names of youth and junior national team players who will represent Iraq for upcoming foreign elections.

The federation’s media coordinator, Ahed Faleh, told Agency that the Iraqi Football Federation sent official letters to the clubs that include the players who were selected for the national team in order to enter an internal training camp to represent Iraq in the upcoming external participations, and the federation will announce them later, which includes the curriculum for the upcoming participations.

He pointed out that the list of young players who were selected is: Nour Adham Salman, Muhammad Saif al-Din Zaman, Ayser Omar Mahdi, and Younis Alaa Muhammad from the Degla University Club, Hamza Hamoud Jaafar, Reda Alaa Yaqoub from Kahraba, Abu al-Hassan Karim Salem, and Ali. Alaa Hussein, Mumel Alaa Hassan from Al-Hilla Club, Samer Taghlib Qadir from the North Gas Club, Muhammad Sabah Hamza from the Oil Club, Zanar Hoshyar, Siddad Khader Omar, Saleh Fares from the Zakho Club, Abdullah Mortada Abbas, Hussein Ali Dhiab, and Abdullah Muhammad Nouri from the Popular Mobilization Club.

While the list of emerging players consisted of: Karam Thaer, Mahdi Ahmed Zaghir from Al-Hashd Al-Shaabi Club, Youssef Faqar Mahdi from Al-Sayd Club, Ali Hassan Muhammad, Maan Ali Ghassan, Ali Abdul Amir, Abbas Ali, Hamza Bassam from Al-Karkh Club, Hussein Zahid, and Abdul Al-Rahman Wissam, Mujtaba Oran from Al-Hilla Club, Abdel-Qahar Hamed from Al-Kahraba Club, Youssef Ahmed Mohi from Diyala Club, and Zihat Jamal from Zakho Club.
