BOLZANO. “The farmers’ protest is legitimate.” This is stated by South Tyrolean Farmers’ Association, the South Tyrolean Farmers’ Union, which, however, “distances itself from the protests that refuse the legitimation of democratic representation”. In a note, the Bauernbund “expresses its opinion solidarity with the demonstratorsas the problems of local agriculture are similar, if not directly comparable”.

Bolzano is not the main cause of the problems, but Rome and Brusselswho are responsible for much of the bureaucracy. Protests must be organized there“, concludes the note.
