Uniform distribution: the sewing of the squares on the outer fabric of the blanket is designed to ensure that the filling material is evenly distributed throughout the entire blanket.
The price is affected by the composition of the filling: the combination of small feathers in the composition of the natural filling lowers the costs of the blanket because the natural down is very expensive.
The quality of an upside-down blanket is measured by its weight: the lighter the natural upside-down filling is, the higher quality and warmer it is considered to be.
What actually warms us: the blanket itself does not create heat, but only isolates us from the cold air in the room. Our body heat stored under the blanket is what actually makes us warm. Therefore the level of insulation is the one that is important – the higher the level of insulation, the warmer the blanket will be. Making the difference: Reverse blankets differ from each other in three main components: the filling of the blanket which is the insulating material, the amount of filling in the blanket and the quality of the wrapping fabric.
Maintenance and cleaning: an essential part of the blanket is the quality of the fabric that covers it, besides the pampering, it is important that it is easy to clean. In order to maintain the quality of the blanket over the years, it is recommended to dry clean it without ironing. If you have spotted stains on the blanket or it emits unpleasant odors, you can wash it with soap and water. In any case, after a certain period of time of use, it is advisable to ventilate the blanket in the open air and not in direct contact with sunlight.
