The movie ‘Chekan’ is all set to release on June 10 in Wayanad. The trailer of the movie has been released. The trailer was released on social media by actor and director Nadirsha, Shias Kareem and Anjali Ameer.
Produced by Mansoor Ali under the banner of One to One Media, Chekan is scripted and directed by newcomer Shafi Epic. Chekan is a musical film about the neglect of a student by a tribal singer. Both the songs of the movie have been released on YouTube and have gone viral on social media. Other songs are composed by folk singer Manikandan Perumbadappu. Guppy, Chalakudy friend Fame Vishnu Purushan is the hero. Athira is the heroine.
The cast also includes Abu Salim, Vinod Kovur, Tasnikhan, Ali Arangadath, Ambili, Salam Kalpetta, Marar, Afzal Thuvur and many others. Suresh Red One handles the camera and Jarshaj does the editing.
