The Berlin Greens present their Senate candidates

by time news

Berlin – The candidates for the three Senate posts of the Berlin Greens have been chosen: The failed top candidate for the office of Governing Mayor, Bettina Jarasch, is to succeed Regine Günther as the new Senator for Environment, Transport and Climate Protection. The previous parliamentary manager of his parliamentary group in the House of Representatives, Daniel Wesener, is to move up to the finance department, which the Greens have secured for the first time. Wesener is supposed to replace Matthias Kollatz from the SPD there. Ulrike Gote, previously head of the health department in Kassel, Hesse, was won over for the newly tailored science, health, care and equality department. With this personnel table, the party leadership wants to go to the party congress on Sunday, which is to give the green light for the formation of a new red-green-red Senate.
